South Coast

New South Wales

There’s something special about this string of white sand beaches, rainforests and little seaside towns that line the coast below Wollongong. Packed with natural beauty and down-to-earth locals, the South Coast is where you want to return with the whole family year after year. You can head out dolphin watching in Jervis Bay, go picnicking on Nowra’s Hanging Rock or visit art galleries in Berry. Feeling daring? Skydive over some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches. Hyam’s beach is often touted as having the whitest sand in the world, and while that has proven not so true, it’s well worth a visit to judge for yourself. The Yuin people are the traditional custodians of this land.
