Dubbo is one of the most well-known towns outside of Sydney, due largely to the Taronga Open Plains Zoo. What you probably didn't know though is that Dubbo has a burgeoning cafe and foodie scene. Be prepared to be surprised by the excellent range of coffee spots operating in Dubbo.

Short St Store
Serving seriously good coffee, this friendly café features a trendy outdoor courtyard and a cosy interior - perfect to enjoy a delicious breakfast or lunch. There are yummy baked goods, all day breakfast and sophisticated offerings for lunch such as sole cooked with lemon, capers, dill, chives and white wine.

The Auctioneer
With a focus on fine coffee, delicious French pastries and pies, and an ever-changing seasonal menu, The Auctioneer is a must-visit in the heart of Dubbo. Owned by the same team as the Farmer’s Bakehouse, there is a cosy interior and quaint courtyard to eat in, or grab some top coffee to take-away.

Black Tambourine
Dubbo's own hole in the wall cafe, Black Tambourine has a street cafe vibe and serves super fresh all-day breakfast including eggs bennie, bacon and egg rolls, homemade banana bread - and of course delicious coffee. There are also burgers, gourmet toasted sandwiches and a range of topped bruschetta's on offer.
