Alongside the extensive bar, The Publican boasts Mornington’s largest and only terrace on Main Street, making it the ultimate spot for socialising on a warm summer’s evening. Merchant Lane is a fun relaxed venue that offers the best of both worlds - plentiful well-priced food and a fully stocked speciality beer bar. It's the perfect place for an easy dinner with family or a big night out with friends. Try the The Butchers Club on Monday, Merchant Mexicola on Tuesday, Parmaology on Wednesday, Bossman Burgers on Thursday, Pizza & Sides Friday and Saturday, and Roast on Sunday. This venue also works for large groups, with the friendly staff happy to make everyone feel welcome. There's entertainment on offer and seating outside for when the weather is warm. Hidden away at the top end of Main Street is Mr Paul's, a bespoke bar that offers a wide range of beers and wines, including a few unusual ones to keep it interesting. The 12 beers on tap are always changing but include local favourites like Mornington Brewery, just a few kilometres up the road. Add in some of the best street food in town (the popcorn chicken is a winner) and you have a welcoming and easy venue for a relaxed night out.
Decorated in Baroque style, Brass Razu is a wine bar that's now in it's 10th year! A popular place for people who enjoy good wine, craft beer, or tasty cocktails, it offers a unique and comfortable decor including the Velvet Room, filled with comfortable sofas, the Main Bar and Outdoor Courtyard that let the evening breeze in, and the cosy Fireplace Room that's perfect in winter. Try their famous Five Spirit Long Island Ice Tea, served in a silver teapot, that's perfect for sharing between friends. This venue really is a must-visit in Mornington for a fun night out!
