Boasting beautiful beaches, tranquil lagoons, Norfolk pine trees lining the Esplanade and natural rock formations, Terrigal is without question full of beauty. But, in addition to this, it has also earned the tag of being the social hub of the Central Coast.
Terrigal has plenty of excellent establishments where you can meet friends for a drink any day or night of the week. Regardless of what you feel like, be it a cold craft beer, a glass of Shiraz, or a delicious cocktail or mocktail with a share plate, you will be sure to find the perfect spot in Terrigal.
Here is a selection of my favourite places.

If you're looking for a slice of Jamaica close to home, pull up a stool at Mumbo Jumbos. The restaurant and bar boasts sweeping views over sparkling Terrigal Beach. To match the sandy vibe, you'll sip rum cocktails in the company of beach shack decor and happy reggae tunes.
Even if you only pop in for a drink, you might not be able to resist the aromas of Caribbean-inspired dishes coming from the kitchen. Slow smoked pork ribs with sticky rum barbeque sauce and garlic chilli crab are just the start on this mouthwatering menu.
Located close to the centre of town and directly opposite Terrigal Beach
, Pocket Bar has a relaxed atmosphere. The raw brickwork, retro furnishings, wall murals, and timber ceilings create a fun and feel-good vibe that will make you smile even before you’ve ordered your first cocktail.
Speaking of cocktails, Pocket Bar excels in this department. Offering bespoke creations along with some favourite classics, you will be sure to find a recipe to tantalise your taste buds, regardless of your mood. The friendly staff is knowledgeable, always happy to offer suggestions and can make up any cocktail you fancy, even options not listed on the menu.
The beer and wine list is ever-changing, meaning you will always have the opportunity to try something new. If you are feeling hungry, Pocket Bar also offers delicious and beautifully presented share plates and tapas, which is the perfect accompaniment to any cocktail.
Live music on the weekends and the intimate and funky décor, make this place an excellent option for locals and visitors to Terrigal.
If craft beer and pizza is more your thing, then you will love Four Hands.
Easily one of the best restaurants in Terrigal, Four Hands is unpretentious, serving Italian and Spanish dishes sure to delight, and a diverse selection of Australian craft beer on tap or in the bottle.
Four Hands also offer a variety of local and international wines and a choice of classic cocktails.
The dukkha crusted cauliflower and pork belly are top rated, and the pizzas never disappoint. It is the perfect place if you want delicious food and a drink without breaking the bank.
In the most iconic locations, opposite Terrigal Beach on the ground floor of the Crowne Plaza, the Florida Beach Bar is a vibrant and fun venue catering to families and a broad demographic during the day and then later in the evening, to a younger crowd who come to party!
Live entertainment is a strong drawcard, with the sound of the music often dominating the Esplanade on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night. It regularly hosts special events and big names, with a mixture of dance, electronic and R&B music on offer.
You can enjoy a great selection of local and imported beers and wines, as well as the full range of spirits and cocktails you'd expect from a venue associated with Crowne Plaza.
For anybody who is new to Terrigal, the Florida Beach Bar should be the top of the list. Another big plus is that if you have too many drinks, you can just walk upstairs and stay the night also!
Located right opposite Crowne Plaza, Rhonda’s is an intimate little venue popular with locals. It features a restaurant and bar downstairs, additional dining space upstairs, with a new rooftop alfresco space, allowing you to enjoy the sunshine and ocean vistas.
With a vast selection of spirits, you can be sure to find what you want. Regarded as one of the best regional bars in Australia, Rhonda’s has over 170 different spirits, amaros, and liqueurs.
If you can’t see something you like on the menu, the friendly staff will be happy to mix up something especially for you.
Rhonda’s is another fantastic place to go if you are looking for dinner and a drink. Serving delicious pasta, woodfire pizzas, antipasto, and mezze platters. Live DJ’s and musicians on the weekend, add to the ambience and is another reason Rhonda’s is highly recommended.
